About Us

at Geoff Potts D.D.S.

Our Mission

It is the goal of our practice to provide patients a pleasant environment, a qualified staff and a dentist committed to the pursuit of excellence, treating people according to their need and ability to pay a fair fee.

We believe in putting the patient's needs first. Furthermore, we believe oral health can be a reality, through proper home care, regular exams, and quality restorative dentistry.

Our practice is prevention-oriented and comprehensive in scope.

Our goal is to provide individualized attention, creating rapport between patients and staff.
Although all phases of general dentistry are provided, referrals are made to the appropriate specialist when the needs of the patient merit. We strive to achieve the basics of successful practice, including honesty, sincerity, modesty, tolerance, unselfishness, and sympathetic understanding.

Dr. Potts

Dr. Potts grew up in Broken Arrow, OK, where he graduated in 1989. Upon high school graduation, he attended the University of Oklahoma, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. During his undergraduate tenure, Dr. Potts was the President of the Oklahoma RUF/NEKS spirit organization and also was selected to the Business Leadership Program. After completing his undergraduate degree in May 1993, he attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, graduating in May 1998. During this time, he was elected President of Delta Sigma Delta, an honorary academic dental fraternity, and, most importantly, married his high school sweetheart, Donna Wright in July 1997. He considers the marriage to his wife to be the first of what he considers to be, "the three greatest blessings of my life." In July 1998, Dr. Potts began practicing dentistry in Norman and he has, happily, remained in this wonderful community. In May 2002, he experienced the second greatest blessing of his life, when his daughter, Annabella was born. Four years later, in July 2006, the third blessing, Sophia, was born.

Giving back to the community has always been an important part of Dr. Potts' life philosophy. Beginning in 2006, upon the urging of his lifelong friend, Jenny Kallenberger and her husband, Dr. David Kallenberger, also a dear friend and mentor, Dr. Potts became involved with Integris (Baptist Hospital) Foundations. After serving a year on the Integris Young Philanthropist (IYP) Board, Dr. Potts was selected to lead. The primary focus of the IYP is children, more specifically, children who attend schools, which, historically, underperform academically. It is a great source of pride for Dr. Potts, knowing that, with the help of Integris, these children have dramatically improved their academic scores AND attendance! Upon the completion of his third consecutive term as Chairman of the Board, he was selected as the 2009 Young Philanthropist of the Year.

Sooner Born, Sooner Bred. These four words are a perfect description for Dr. Potts. As mentioned earlier, Dr. Potts attended the University of Oklahoma, where he was an Oklahoma RUF/NEK. His love for the Sooners continues today as he is an avid supporter of OU Athletics. Just one quick tour through his office and it is quite apparent where his allegiance lies. One of his hobbies, sports memorabilia collecting, displays a strong Sooner influence. Dr. Potts also enjoys fishing in his leisure time, of which he says he never has enough. The bulk of his time away from the office is spent with his most valued treasure – his family. Dr. Potts and his family are members of Journey Church in Norman. He is a member of the Oklahoma Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
